High School Mathematics (mainly Algebra 1)
Choose kindness. Choose love. Choose Joy. This is one of the main focus points in my classroom. Yes we will learn math but if students walk out of my class a kinder more giving person, then I have done my job. Going into my 12th year (all at the same school), I will be going into my second year on what we we call our intervention team. I will be teaching students who need to retake Algebra 1 to either earn failed credit or help them to pass the state Algebra 1 exam. These students are the ones who either really dislike math or have trouble and need some extra care and love and I hope to be able to provide that for them.
