My name is Alyssa Somers. I will be starting my third year in third grade in the fall. A little about me, I am married to my college sweetheart of three years. We don't have any kids just yet, but hope to soon see success in fertility treatments so we can grow our family. Until then, my husband and I enjoy tennis and mini golf together. We are a proud aunt and uncle to 7 nephews and 3 nieces with a nephew being born in September. Family is such a gift! I have five siblings and always wanted to be a teacher as a young girl. I am loving teaching third grade and hope to continue to teach this age for a while. This year a goal of mine is to grow our class library and enhance other supplies in the classroom.
