My name is Chelsea Black and I am entering my 3rd year as a Behavioral Special
Education Teacher. This coming year I have the opportunity to add Functional
Life Skills to my class schedule and welcome even more students into my room.
My classroom is a safe space for my students to come regulate their emotions,
grab a tool to help them return to baseline, learn and grow to the best of
their abilities, and now practice functional life skills like cooking, creating
a resume, budgeting, and so much more. This wish list provides accommodations
and tools to my students and ensures they can remain regulates, safe, and ready
to learn!
