I just finished my 4th year of teaching Pre—K and I was named teacher of the year! My goal as a Pre-K teacher is to teach students how to be in school. Majority of my students have never been in school before so teaching them their social emotional skills is so important. There is so much hands on learning through play, the students grasp concepts faster, we get to have fun and learn at the same time! This last year was a very difficult year with multiple behaviors and a lot of my things were destroyed in the process. Having items purchased off of my wishlist will give my new students toys that are not broken. I’m due in October but will be out for 4 months because my baby will need heart surgery so money is very tight. Anything is helpful!
