I am a dedicated middle school special education teacher at a Title I school, where I’ve proudly served for the past 11 years. I believe in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for my students, often incorporating classroom transformations to spark curiosity and maintain high levels of engagement. As a passionate advocate for my students, I consistently go above and beyond to support them both inside and outside the classroom. I was recently honored as my school’s 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year, a recognition that reflects my deep commitment to education and student success. Beyond the classroom, I actively work to boost morale among faculty and staff by organizing game days and other uplifting activities throughout the school year. I believe that a strong, motivated school community positively impacts student outcomes, and I strive to contribute to that culture every day
