I’m a 1st grade teacher in Oklahoma and am so excited to welcome a new group next year. This year I am transitioning from 3rd grade to 1st and am looking forward to a new adventure! I teach at a diverse Title I school with 63% of my students being minorities (African American, Native American, Hispanic, and Asian). We are unique in that we pull from all 4 quadrants of Tulsa, meaning that we have a wide range of students ability wise and financial wise. My goal is to create a welcoming environment for all of my students, that allows each of my students access to an equitable education!
