I am currently teaching in a public elementary school ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade. I am the 3rd-5th grade academic facilitator in which all teacher teams are self contained. My primary responsibilities include coaching, data analysis, facilitating the curriculum for math, literacy, language, and teaching an extended literacy block aligned with both the district adopted curriculum and the state standards. I work on an interdisciplinary team supported by the general education teacher in collaboration with the Special Education, Academically Gifted, and Multilingual Learner teachers.
