4th Grade Dual Language Teacher
I am a 4th grade dual language teacher at Leviton Dual Language School, which is an urban public school in Providence, Rhode Island that is part of Providence Public School District. It serves 300 students in K - 5. The students at my classroom are a resilient group of students who strive to overcome no matter the obstacles they are facing. They are motivated by staff to become problem solvers, leaders in their community, achievers and collaborators, while demonstrating kindness and empathy towards others as they learn and speak in two languages, English and Spanish. This school fosters a learning environment that feels like a community, where students are encouraged to work alongside teachers to guide their learning.
