I am about to start my 26th year of teaching in a small rural town in Alberta. I teach grade 4/5 ELA and Social Studies. I love incorporating picture books into my lessons but find I often do not have a physical copy of the book I know my students would love! The past 5 years I have also been the Food teacher for grades 7-12. I have introduced the sewing element back into the grade 7-9 Foods program and we go through a lot of fabric and thread!!
