Gifted Math
Hi! I am a 20+ year teacher veteran and have created a Discovery Math class for grades K - 5 at Huntley Hills Elementary School. Because this is a new position, I do not have many manipulatives for my students. I like to blend in science with our math lessons when possible. Our school is a Title 1 School with over half of our kids being English language learners. The more tangible items I can get in their hands, the more they will be able to make connections.
