I’m a 2nd grade teacher in Garland, Texas. I moved campuses this year and am excited to meet my students in a little over 2 months! My biggest focus is instilling a passion for a calm environment. Most of My things on the list is things for my classroom. I am also starting desk pets this year. Students will adopt a ‘pet’ (animal eraser) and they can earn food and accessories to give to their pets.” This is my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade and . I work at a Title 1 school. Many of our students receive Free & reduced breakfast and lunch. This year I started the year with 22 students and most of them have nothing. My classroom is our happy place and I love to make it feel like a second home for my sweet kiddos.
