I am in my 10th year teaching 6th grade students who have math, reading, and/or writing disabilities, ADHD, Autism, and other various disorders which fall under “other health impairment.” My district has restructured, so I am teaching the same grade, but moving from the jr high to a newly created intermediate school. I am creating a brand new environment that revolves around the Teacher Created Resources theme “Everybody is Welcome.”
