I am going into my 7th year as a middle school math teacher. This year will be a bit of a change with a new baby arriving as the school year starts. Something different about teaching in Malibu, although an affluent community, teachers must supply all materials and cannot require students to have any of their own supplies. These extra supplies help ensure learning math remains fun and student can participate in hands on learning.
