I have been teaching resource for 6 years for K-2. I started middle school this year and had to start from scratch. The space I worked in is very small and will also be utilized by the reading specialist. I am trying to invest in creating a calm and welcoming environment. The school is located on Skid row in Downtown LA, so we receive many students who are in pretty severe situations. Creating a break from those realities is really important for me. Any support will be so helpful!
