Hi, I am the only School Counselor at a public high school in Queens, NY (NYC). I serve the entire school (9-12 grade) approx 375 students. It’s such an underserved school that my “office” is just a small space in a supply closet. Yes, I sit in a small space crowded with boxes and supplies. And yet, I try to make it as comfortable and safe as possible for my students. In that small space we speak about and explore future plans, social emotional learning, self regulation, and trauma. I would appreciate any little help to continue providing services to them as they navigate school and life. Thank you so much in advanced !
