Hi! My name is Jennifer —my students call me Miss Jennie—and I teach 4- and
5-year-old PreK in a public school setting. I lead an integrated classroom that
includes both general education and special education students, with a focus on
supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and behavioral
needs.
My classroom is firmly grounded in a play-based philosophy, where
learning happens through hands-on exploration, meaningful interactions, and
joyful discovery. At the same time, we are incorporating the Science of Reading
into our literacy instruction to ensure every child builds a strong foundation
in language and early reading skills.
I believe that creativity,
imagination, and fun are essential for young learners, and I work hard to
create a classroom where children feel inspired, supported, and excited to
learn. Teaching is truly my passion, and I’m committed to giving my students
the very best every single day.
