Special Education- Applied Skills
This is my 8th year teaching in a self contained classroom for students with moderate to severe disabilities. My students learn in a variety of different ways so the majority of their work is modified to fit their needs. This means a variety of materials are important to best assist each child. A large portion of my list includes sensory materials because we are currently building a sensory room in our school. This space will be an asset in assisting students with self regulation.
