My name is Jodi Rusk and I started Teaching in1997. In 2006, I decided to leave Teaching and sold everything, thinking I would not go back. Right around Covid, I realized that Teaching was what I was meant to do and so got recertified and went back to the classroom. I have taught a couple different grades but now seem to be settles into 3rd grade. I teach in a smaller district with lots of lower income families. The kids work hard and come from nice families but don't have a lot and can't afford to donate things to the classroom. The Teachers at our school don't make the same salary as some of the bigger schools. Last Christmas I had to take a 2 month leave due to emergency open heart surgery and many things were either lost or damaged while I was gone. Please help supply needed supplies to our classroom! Anything would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you!
