Self-contained Sped Teacher
Widowed mother of two with two bonus children/in laws and two precious grandchildren. My students are my extra special reason for enjoying my days as my children and grands live a distance away. I love working with my students as they teach me how to find joy in the little things in life! I generally have 11-13 students in my class with 4-6 being nonverbal; therefore, a great deal of our lessons are hands on task based with manipulatives. Many say they could never do what I do, I could never see myself doing anything different as my students clearly prove EVERYONE IS CAPABLE of learning we just have teach they have abilities not disabilities!
